Hon. Oluchukwu John Ilogbenu (Olutek) is a purpose-driven public servant, community mobilizer, and development-oriented leader from Ndam, Ngo Nnobi, in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State. He is currently vying for the position of Mayor of Idemili south LGA on the platform of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).
PROFILE OF HON. OLUCHUKWU JOHN ILOGBENU (OLUTEK)
Hon. Oluchukwu John Ilogbenu (Olutek) is a purpose-driven public servant, community mobilizer, and development-oriented leader from Ndam, Ngo Nnobi, in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State. He is happily married and blessed with four children, a family foundation that continues to shape his values of responsibility and service. A graduate of Public Administration (B.Sc.) from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), Hon. Ilogbenu combines sound academic grounding with rich grassroots political experience, private-sector management exposure, and an outstanding record of community service. His life’s work reflects a deep understanding of governance, people-centered development, and the urgent need for responsive leadership at the local government level.

Education
We shall aggressively pursue a “NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND IN
IDEMILI SOUTH” education initiative.
Health
We shall reenergize our Primary Health Centers to meet up to international standards.
Infrastructure
We shall embark on an ambitious massive infrastructural rejuvenation drive across all sectors.
Security
We aim to strengthen collaboration with local vigilante groups and security
agencies in line with the Anambra State Homeland Security Law 2025,
which established the “Agunechemba” security outfit and authorized
“Operation Udo Ga-Achi” to combat violent crime.
Agriculture
We shall drive an Idemili South Agric to Wealth Revolution which shall reposition agriculture from
scattered individual efforts into a coordinated local economic sector driven by
productivity and innovation.
Human Capital & Youth Empowerment
Through our human capital development programs, about 500 micro-enterprises will be supported or formalized in 2
years in alignment with His Excellency Prof. Soludo’s productivity-driven economic
framework.
