Stakeholder Engagement Continues with a Visit to Eveng. Peter Obi in Nnobi.

Today, I continued my extensive stakeholder engagement in furtherance of our Idemili South Rising vision with a courtesy visit to Evangelist Peter Obi (Ikukuoma n’Nnobi) at his residence in Umuafor, Ebenesi, Nnobi.

The visit provided an opportunity for us to exchange ideas on how we can work together to deliver meaningful, people-oriented development across Idemili South Local Government Area. As a respected community leader who previously served as Chairman of Ebenesi Nnobi and also former Chairman of the Electrical Dealers International Market, Obosi, Evangelist Peter Obi has remained a prominent voice in community affairs. He also played a significant role as a key stakeholder of the Labour Party during the 2023 general elections.

Being sons of Nnobi, our discussion centred on the need to embrace a common purpose for the progress of our people. I shared my conviction that this Mayoral project belongs to all of us and that only through broad-based collaboration can we build the prosperous, inclusive and people-centred local government our people deserve.

I was deeply encouraged by the warm reception accorded to me by Evangelist Peter Obi. He expressed confidence in our vision and assured me of his support for this mayoral project. He further promised to explore ways to ensure that APGA records a resounding victory in the forthcoming general elections.

Also present during the visit was the former Labour Party Chairman for Nnobi Ward 1, Hon. Lawrence Obiefuna, whose presence further underscored the spirit of unity and collective responsibility that defined our meeting.

As we continue to engage critical stakeholders across Idemili South, I remain convinced that the future we seek can only be built through partnership and a shared commitment to the common good of our people.

Indeed, Idemili South is rising from the grassroots to greatness.
