Nnobi was alive with excitement and great communal pride as sons, daughters, friends, and well-wishers gathered in their numbers to witness the commissioning of the 1.5 km Late Engr. Emma Nwokoye Ojukwu/Umuagu–Umuikechem Road. The atmosphere in Ngo Nnobi on 27th April 2026 reflected a moment of fulfilment, resilience, philanthropy, and purposeful leadership.
This landmark project, fully sponsored by High Chief Emeka Agbanari, MFR (Ike Idemili), attracted by me, Hon. Constructed with durable interlocking stones, reinforced by a dual drainage system, and illuminated throughout by high-grade solar-powered streetlights, the road is a lifeline restored for our people. For decades, residents of Umuagu and Umuikechem, Ngo Nnobi, endured the burden of a difficult terrain, but today, that story has been rewritten.

Tony Elebo (Ogazi Ojoto); as well as APGA aspirants for Idemili South State Constituency, Hon. Princess Amaka Obi (Iyom Ijele) and Hon. Donatus Ngige (Ukwuomakpolu Idemili), among others.
The gathering was rich in goodwill and shared purpose. It reflected a community aligned in its aspirations and determined to sustain meaningful development. At the heart of it all stood High Chief Emeka Agbanari (Ike Idemili), whose intervention has permanently altered the landscape and daily experience of the people. His consistent commitment to uplifting lives continues to inspire admiration and gratitude. Indeed, his contributions extend far beyond physical structures; they restore hope, strengthen community bonds, and set a standard for selfless service.

The commissioning also served as an opportunity to recognize other illustrious sons of Nnobi whose ongoing and upcoming projects continue to redefine our town’s development trajectory. We appreciate High Chief Ikechukwu Azugo (Okenwa Idemili) and Chief Obinna Akusoba (Ojiewulu Nnobi) for their road construction efforts, respectively, which will all be commissioned soon. Special appreciation to His Royal Majesty, the Igwe of Nnobi, and the President General of NWO for their steady leadership and dedication to preserving unity and peace within the town, an essential foundation for sustained progress.
As this ceremony concluded, one message remained clear: Nnobi, and indeed Idemili South, is rising on the strength of collective commitment and visionary individuals who choose to give back. The newly commissioned road is a turning point for us. It is a practical solution to long-standing hardship and a powerful reminder of what is possible when purpose meets action.
We remain profoundly grateful to High Chief Emeka Agbanari (Ike Idemili) for this remarkable gesture. We pray for his continued strength, long life, and good health, as our people look forward with renewed confidence to even greater strides ahead.
