HAPPY DEMOCRACY DAY, NIGERIANS! From Hon. Oluchukwu Ilogbenu (Olutek)

Today, June 12, as we commemorate Democracy Day in Nigeria, I extend my warmest greetings to the good people of Idemili South Local Government Area and indeed all Nigerians at home and abroad.

This special day reminds us of the sacrifices made to secure and sustain the democratic freedoms we enjoy today. I urge us all to continue believing in the Nigerian project, to remain law-abiding citizens, and to play our respective roles in building a stronger and prosperous nation.

I deeply appreciate our great party, APGA, for remaining steadfast in promoting the true tenets of democracy and people-oriented governance. I also commend our National Leader and the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, for his visionary leadership and commitment to ensuring that the dividends of democracy are felt by every Onye Anambra and beyond.

As we celebrate today, may it renew our collective resolve to uphold the sovereignty and democratic values of our dear nation. May we continue to work together for a brighter future for generations yet unborn.

Indeed, Idemili South is rising from the grassroots to greatness.
