WELCOMING OUR NATIONAL FIRST LADY TO ANAMBRA.

Today, I joined Ndi Anambra in welcoming the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, to our dear state for the South-East launch of the National Community Food Bank Programme and the commissioning of the ICT Centre at the Federal Polytechnic, Oko.

The Food Bank Programme is a timely intervention supporting vulnerable households, while the new ICT Centre will help equip our young people with the digital skills required to compete and thrive in today’s digital world.

Indeed, Anambra stood still today for our National First Lady. These initiatives represent important steps towards strengthening food security, social inclusion, digital empowerment, education, innovation, and sustainable human capital development across our communities and the South-East.

We especially appreciate our dear Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR (Oluatuegwu 1), for his visionary leadership and for being an excellent host. We equally appreciate Mama Anambra, Dr Nonye Soludo, for empowering our women and vulnerable families with various equipment to support their journey towards self-sufficiency.

Today is also a reminder of the enormous responsibility ahead. As we prepare to serve the good people of Idemili South, we remain committed to ensuring that the dividends of good governance are not only promised, but visible and felt at the grassroots.

Indeed, Idemili South is rising from the grassroots to greatness.

~ Hon. Oluchukwu Ilogbenu (Olutek)
Mayor-Elect, Idemili South LGA.
