Ngo Nnobi yesterday added another remarkable feather to its growing record of community development with the official commissioning of the newly completed Chief R.N. Akusoba Crescent in Umuegbu, Ngo Nnobi.
This road project, generously sponsored by Chief Obinna Akusoba (Ojiewulu Nnobi), which I, Hon. Ilogbenu Oluchukwu (Olutek), attracted, was commissioned by the capacity Mayor of Idemili South Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs. Amaka Obi (Iyom Ifeabata), amidst excitement and widespread celebration from our people and guests.
The newly delivered road reflects quality and thoughtful planning. Constructed with premium interlocking stones and complemented by a well-engineered drainage network certified by the local government authorities, the project further enhances accessibility and connectivity within the community. Adding to its elegance and functionality, the entire stretch of the crescent has been illuminated with high-quality solar-powered streetlights installed on both sides of the road.

The overwhelming joy across Ngo Nnobi is proof of the renewed momentum of development currently sweeping through our community. This achievement underscores the immense value of collective action and aligns perfectly with the Public-Private Community Partnership (PPCP) model championed by the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, which continues to inspire meaningful grassroots development.
The people of Ngo Nnobi deeply appreciate Chief Obinna Akusoba for his exceptional generosity and strong commitment to community development. This landmark project will not only improve mobility but also unlock new opportunities for growth and development in the area.

We equally thank the Mayor of Idemili South, Hon. Mrs. Amaka Obi, for honouring us with her presence and for performing the commissioning ceremony. Special appreciation also goes to the distinguished guests who graced the occasion, including the Okpala of Nnobi, Chief Onyechi Ifezue; the Isiana Nnobi, Chief John Ojukwuisiana; the President-General of Nnobi Welfare Organization, Chief Aloysius Olubialu, KSJI; the Leader of the Idemili South Legislative Council, Rt. Hon. Ernest Ezeunyim; the Chairman of Umuegbu, Comrade Richard Odezue; the Secretary-General of NWO; Mr Aloy Uba; Mayor Peter Nwaezuoke; members of the NNDU Executive; Ndi Nze na Ozo; Ndi Iyom Ngo; our gracious host, Chief Chijioke Akusoba (Ichie Akajiofor); and numerous other eminent sons, daughters, friends, and well-wishers of Ngo Nnobi.
As Ngo Nnobi continues to embrace this inspiring culture of progress, there is every reason to be optimistic about the future. With the sustained support of our stakeholders, even greater projects lie ahead.
We are just getting started.
Hon. Ilogbenu Oluchukwu (Olutek)
Chairman NNDU & APGA Mayoral Candidate, Idemili South LGA.
