2026 Children’s Day Engagements

CONTINUING my 2026 Children’s Day engagements, I had the honour of attending the Children’s Day celebration held yesterday at the Idemili North LGA Council Headquarters, Ogidi, hosted by the Mayor, Chief Stanley Nkwoka (Ochendo Idemili).

The event was filled with colour and inspiring displays of talent and discipline by children from across Idemili North. It was truly heartwarming to witness the excellence our young people continue to exhibit.

At the end of the march past competition, Mercy Girls Secondary School, Umuoji emerged overall winner, while Excellent Foundation Secondary School, Ogidi secured 2nd position, and Notre Dame High School, Abatete came 3rd. I warmly congratulate the schools, their teachers, and the students for their outstanding performances.

The remarkable efforts of our amiable Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, in providing children across Anambra State with the right tools and environment to thrive through the Solution Agenda remain highly commendable. These investments continue to give our children confidence to dream bigger and excel.

I sincerely appreciate Mayor Stanley Nkwoka (Ochendo Idemili) for the warm reception and for his commitment towards encouraging and supporting the children of Idemili North to aim higher.
